Options at campsites, hostel rooms and group houses (until March 15!)
The Recumbent World Championships take place in the middle of the summer holidays. A growing number of people are camping, so camping sites are already under pressure. Moreover, André Rieu concerts are being held in Maastricht during this period, further increasing the pressure on hotel beds in the surrounding area. We are therefore pleased to have been able to reserve sites at two campsites, as well as hostel beds and team houses, within a short distance of the race course. These options are valid until March 15th. Please take advantage of them as soon as possible, first come, first served.
The accommodations are definitely worth it for a (short) holiday (with the whole family), especially in combination with the World Championships program.
Camping Botkoel, Puth (plm.7 km)
This small-scale, rustic, child-friendly and accessible farm campsite (with fruit growing business) offers a magnificent view over the hills of South Limburg. On sunny days, you can see all the way to Aachen. Check-in: 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (definitely not earlier due to one-way traffic on the access road). Check-out: No later than 12:00 noon.

Camping Catsop, Elsloo (10 km)
Small-scale farm campsite (with organic fruit farm). Under the standard fruit trees, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the rolling Siekendal valley. You can pick your own fruit.

Watersley Sports & Talent Park
Watersley Sports & Talent Park is a residential campus for both international and national top sporting talents. From a unique location, a former monastery, centrally located in Europe and close to Belgium and Germany, athletes can live, train, study and work here.
We are pleased to announce that we can take options on rooms and team houses on this unique site until 15 March. We can offer a maximum of approximately 70 beds. First come, first served…
The accommodation is located approximately 5 km from the Tom Dumoulin Bike Park.
Bicycles and velomobiles can be stored in a covered and lockable area (Plaza). Breakfast, lunch or dinner are also available. However, you can also prepare your own meals in the team houses, or join the communal pasta buffets on Fridays and Saturdays and lunches on Saturdays and Sundays at the Tom Dumoulin Bike Park.
Bookings for the sports hostel during the period around the World Championships for recumbent bicycles can be made via Ligfiets.net. If you are interested in one of the team houses, please let us know by email. Cancellation conditions apply. Please refer to the registration form for more information.
Sporthostel The Tower
(currently) 17 single rooms with private shower and washbasin, shared toilet in the corridor. All rooms have a balcony and overlook a forest. Central hall with lounge sofa and large dining room.
You can stay from whenever and for however long you wish. Minimum stay is 2 nights. Bookings via the Recumbent Bicycle Association. See the form at ligfiets.net.
€ 50 per person per night, including tourist tax Facilities: Breakfast €10 is available; see booking form.
Check-in: from 3 p.m. Check-out: until 10 a.m. at the Sephs Hotel.
Cancellation policy for bookings at Watersley.
In the event of cancellation of a reservation, the registrant is obliged to pay the following percentages of the reservation value: More than 3 months before the start date: 0% . More than 2 months before the start date: 15%. More than 1 month before the start date: 35%. More than 14 days before the start date: 60%. More than 7 days before the start date 85%. 7 days or less before the start date 100%.
These also apply to the team houses.
Watersley team houses
Four houses, each with ten single rooms. If necessary, an extra single bed can be added to a bedroom. Each house has its own sitting area, dining area and fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Overnight stays from 9 July to 12 July, minimum 2 nights. Earlier or later stays are possible in consultation and only per house. You can express your interest in a house and we will contact you.
€ 535 per night per house € 15.50 per person for bed linen (mandatory) € 2.66 per person per night tourist tax.
Facilities:
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at the Sportersrestaurant in the Tower (Chapeau Catering). You can indicate your preference on the form that will be sent to you when you express interest in a house for your team. Check-in: from 3 p.m. Check-out: until 10 a.m. at the Sephs Hotel. You can arrive earlier at the hotel, but you will not be able to enter the house yet. Someone will be present at the Sephs Hotel until 11 p.m.
