Welcome to the WC 2026 HPV!
In 2026, the World Recumbent Championships will be organized by recumbent associations from the Low Countries: Belgium and the Netherlands.
The organization is kicking off with the launch of this special website, where we will share all information and news about the World Championships with you over the coming year (follow the latest news on this page).
We offer a varied program that not only consists of competitions for participants, but also activities that are attractive to others. From a cycle tour through three countries to accommodation options in the area. This means that it has everything it takes to become a multi-day event, suitable for the whole family!
We wish everyone the best of luck with their preparations for the World Championships and warmly welcome you (and your family) to Sittard-Geleen and the surrounding area during the World Championships.

Different Races
* Fastest lap on a 1 km oval track
* 1-hour time trial on a 500 m oval track in Geleen*)
* Children’s races (6 to 15 years old) 15 minutes
* Climbing criterion 45 minutes + 1 lap
* 3-hour race
*) At the time of writing, Bikepark Geleen is undergoing maintenance. If this is not completed on time, we will use an alternative track in Sittard
