This World Championships HPV ’26 special is an edition of the quarterly members’ magazine of the Dutch Recumbent Bicycle Association. In this issue, we have used English throughout almost the entire publication in order to reach as wide an international audience as possible.
We hope this will help to put the recumbent bicycle – in all its forms and use – even more in the spotlight.
In this issue we use five topics to show everyone what’s happening across the recumbent cycling world.
We’ll introduce you to the participants, some of whom aren’t letting physical discomfort stop them from taking part!
We showcase the innovative spirit and entrepreneurial drive within the recumbent cycling community, as well as the connections created by bloggers, YouTubers and forum moderators. We highlight record-holders and demonstrate that you can go a long way on a recumbent bike — whether on competitive tours, on family holidays, or even when facing significant limitations!
